BOBIGNY/NEW YORK

My city called Bobigny is located near Paris, in France.It's a suburb.Bobigny is crowded in some places and less crowded in others.I'ts not a very big city but some districts are big.Bobigny is famous for its buildings : there are tall buildings especially "la Tour de l'étoile", it's the tallest tower of "la cité de l'étoile", lots of people live there.My city is renowned for its mall called "Centre commercial d'Atac".Girls go there to buy clothes, it's not expensive and clothes are nice .Everybody hangs out in Atac when they don't know what to do.

My city is so because some boroughs which aren't nice and some people are crazy.Bobigny is very noisy. However, we can meet nice people and make many friends; some people are nice, some others are bad.Me, I like Bobigny.I've lived here since I am 6 years old: it's like my house even if it's not perfect.All my friends live in Bobigny and they like it.I like my city because there is atmosphere, we are not bored.

My favorite activities are doing shopping, going out with my friends, going to the pool, to the ice-skating rink with them.I like seeing basketball competitions or handball matches.I like eating at the restaurant or snack bar.My favorite place is the mall because I buy clothes there and I can see people that I know.I have a good time with my mates.If you want to go to a big party, there is the Party of City in Bergere Park.Celebrities sometimes come and there are dance shows made by teenagers from Bobigny.You need money to buy food or drinks. The party usually finishes late in the evening.

The strangest thing which happened to me was when I was followed by a strange man.I was afraid.The funniest things are too crazy, I can't write about them.
I thing you can enjoy yourself here because there is atmosphere even if there are many disadvantages too. A city can't be perfect but mine is as it is.

I live in Bobigny in department of Seine-Saint-Denis. There are 40 000 inhabitants. Its inhabitants are called “Balbyniens”. Bobigny comes from the name of the former Roman general Balbinius. My city is famous for its park “The Bergere”. In this town, we can find a famous hospital called “Avicenne”. Avicenne was a famous Muslim philosopher and doctor. This hospital was created on March 22^nd 1935. At that period, the goal was to look after Muslims living in Paris and its suburbs. But nowadays it welcomes everybody and it is a public hospital. My city is hospitable because we can see lots of the flowers. When I go out, I go to Paris because it is not far from Bobigny. In Paris, there are more shopping centers, parks and monuments than in Bobigny. Paris is cleaner than Bobigny. My favourite hangout is the city center because we can meet people. If you go to Paris, you should see the Eiffel Tower, the museums… The happiest thing that ever happened to me was when I got my “brevet des colleges” (a diploma obtained last year after four years in high school) with “mention assez bien” (a sort of congratulation). I’m sure you will enjoy yourself in Bobigny because it’s a quite great city.
